Martin Christie, Chair
Martin joined as a Director in early 2017 following a career in the extractive industry where he focused on corporate responsibility, sustainability and communications. Martin was appointed Chair in October 2017. In his last role, Martin was first Executive Director of a start-up supply chain initiative which drives continuous improvement in social and environmental performance of mining companies.  The experience he brings to the charity includes in governance, strategy developments, stakeholder engagement and communications.
Terri Collins, Director Terri CollinsTerri helped establish Elmbridge Advocacy Link in 1994, which in 2000 became Elmbridge Community Link. She has a business background in politics and PR and is also a director of a family company, Osborne & Collins. Terri has a diploma in counselling and in 2000 helped to establish The Counselling Partnership, of which she is now Patron.
Jean Smith, Director Jean has worked in the Charitable sector since 1979 and with people with disabilities since 1986. She’s involved in a voluntary capacity on various local management committees, including Chair of Kingston Advocacy Group and London Co-operative Training. She has a background in financial and business management and is a qualified teacher.
David Middleton, Treasurer

David took over the role of Treasurer in September 2013 and joined the board later that year. He has over 25 years of finance experience, largely in financial services. Originally from West Yorkshire, he has lived locally since 1988.
Ann Ledgard, Director

Ann joined ECL as a volunteer in 2013 and became a member of the Board at the end of that year. She has a background in marketing and currently runs her own copywriting company.
