LUNCH CLUB SUSPENDED DUE TO COVID-19
Although we have suspended all of our activities, you can still create healthy meals at home. Why not try and make a fruit salad using the recipe below.
Each month we run a Lunch Club as part of our Wednesday multi-skilling day. Here two members are chosen at each session to help staff prepare and cook a healthy two course meal from scratch for their peer group of 30 or so who attend the multi–skilling activity.
They learn the importance of a healthy diet, hygiene issues and how to keep safe in the kitchen.
All meals are carefully planned to emphasise the importance of a nutritious and balanced diet. Any allergy issues are taken into account.
