All our activities are overseen by the charity’s 4 part-time staff, currently helped by 69 local volunteers.
Our members have varying degrees of learning disability and/or autism.. Our role is to encourage each and every member to broaden their horizons by engaging them in a variety of projects which interest them and which they enjoy.
As our members are actively involved in planning our projects, they get a sense of ownership which improves their self-confidence. Several members have been able to look outside ECL to take up volunteering roles in the wider community having completed in-project volunteering with us.
Activities cost only £5 a session which includes refreshments. Fees are payable termly in advance.
