We are often told how much difference coming to ECL makes to the confidence and quality of life of our members.
One of our teenage members accompanied ECL staff to a Transition Information Morning at his College. He acted as an ambassador for the charity by explaining to prospective new beneficiaries the opportunities he has enjoyed by attending our projects. His personal college tutor was very impressed watching him comfortably interacting with young people and their parents whom he had never met before.
Our activities enable our members to make friends and improve their social interaction skills
A parent commented : “It’s great that he is getting social contact outside the house with his peer group”
We recently asked one of our parents what her son and family had gained from him attending our Allsports sessions https://vimeo.com/186409774
